Meet Linda

Hi! I'm Linda!

I'll tell you about what I do, but first, let's talk about you.

As a coach looking to grow your business and serve clients, do you find yourself being pulled from one "shiny object" sales pitch to another, each claiming to reveal the latest perfect strategy to get clients? Have those strategies brought you a stream of new clients and revenue?

Or have you come up empty handed, time after time? And now you feel increasing pressure that you've got to nail some technique or else your coaching business might crumble?

You may have been on a roller coaster ride of marketing strategies, each promising the moon but often falling short. It's a common experience for a lot of coaches. You may have tried many promised strategies only to end up feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. And still searching for clients.

Your Marketing

Roller Coaster

Ride

I understand. I've ridden that roller coaster, too. I've felt that frustration.

Here's the thing: You're not alone. Many entrepreneurs feel just like you do - unsure about how to effectively communicate their value, connect with their ideal customers... and ask for the sale.

The reality is that while many of those loudly promoted strategies can be effective, they are not a one-size-fits-all solution, which can be misleading. What works for one coach might not work for you.

Been There, Done That? Yep, Me Too.

Let's rewind for a minute. I confess that, like many coaches, I once viewed marketing as a necessary evil. I thought it was immoral, unpleasant and impossible to understand. It seemed to only be viable for a few seasoned (and a little intimidating) pros.

I mistakenly labeled marketing as a "bad" thing and believed that promoting myself and my programs somehow compromised my integrity.

Yet, as coaches, our entire business hinges on effective marketing.

Deep down, I knew this was true, yet all I wanted to do was avoid it. I felt like if I was going to do that “marketing thing”, I would be giving up my authenticity - for the sake of growing my business.  That's quite a catch-22.

Must.

Avoid.

Marketing!

This mindset, I later realized, was not only holding me back but also preventing countless individuals from benefitting from my expertise.

Never, Ever Bother People

Once, I made a special offer to my audience by sending an email.

 One email!

That's all I could manage to do because of my misunderstanding of the value of marketing. (I was afraid that it would look like I was only in it for the money.)

One of my paid clients told me that her friend missed my offer. My client wanted to know why I only sent one email.

I told her it was because I didn't want to bother people. Her shocked reply: "How are they going to find out about your sale if you don't tell them?"

It really took me aback because I realized that sending multiple emails was helpful, not harmful.

The experience rattled my cage, but my misconceptions were installed so deeply, my attitude about promoting my programs was still quite limiting.

Fortunately, life had other plans. Guided by some incredible mentors, I gradually let go of my fear of marketing. I discovered that promoting my coaching programs was not a necessary evil but a powerful tool.

I realized that when done right, marketing is actually another aspect of coaching. Marketing materials get your audience focused on an achievable goal, help them understand their challenges more deeply and show them that there is a way to solve their problem.

From there, I found an unexpected passion and talent for marketing, turning what once seemed like an insurmountable challenge into a source of great satisfaction.

I now celebrate the fact that every coach is inherently a excellent marketer.

Yes, that means you!

Through your deep understanding of your clients' struggles and potential transformation, you have the information you need to set up a marketing system that will steadily bring you clients!
